I've been milling lumber for custom furniture with a Micro Mill for 5 years when I heard you can install a kit that enables you to use it on a piece of 2"x4"x1/4" aluminum channel that I bought at the metal supply store. This channel takes place of the 2"x6" piece of lumber I was using for my guide. I installed the "High Precision Kit" onto the Micro Mill in just under 10 minutes. I was very happy with the performance of the Micro Mill and the 2x6 set up but now I am pumped with how square and straight my lumber my lumber is.
